First ever OFFICIAL EPUB LERZPUNENEWSWEEK debut sept 28, 2021

Whew what a ROLLERCOASTER of amazingness the past few months have been. Us here in Puna have been through the ringer the past DECADE, IF NOT MORE, with constant natural disasters, fires and covid

One things certain, our Sacred and Endangered Native Hawaiian Habitats are in dire need of protection, awareness, conservation and actual on the ground efforts for areas we cannot reach (Which I plan to do as I have a full year of Conservation Proposals laid out and I am seeking the help to legally speed the incorporation of Sugars Endangered Native Hawaii Wildlife Conservation and Animal Foundation 501(c)(3) S-Corp , but that’s a whooole other blog post lol) our people need the HELP they have so desperately been waiting for, as lower LERZ residents who actually were affected by the lava. Our communities and eclectic Pahoa town is in dire need of rebirth, revival and connection.

Human interaction is hard to find these days in social media, and to top it off in covid eras, we are loosing even more hope of actual, real life connection. Do you not agree?

Let’s not let that happen my amazing Puna people. We’ve all been through this together, we’re all still waiting for the same things and we all feel like we’re in that constant loop of Lava Dazed DeJaVu. somethings telling me, Puna is about to start making its rise back up stronger then ever before. Rising from the ashes like the magnificent Pheonix, being reborn , again and again, with more knowledge then ever before and more compassion and understanding then ever before, as to continue on the circle of life creating more and more crazy fun, completely obscure and wild, absolutely ridiculous, Punatic Memories.

It takes a special soul to be able to call Puna home, and to know with all your heart you would never be any other place , even if the whole world was offered to you. We have so many of these strong willed and huge hearted locals all around us so you KNOW your in the right place. The mana IS real. Home sweet home. Just like the photo below. The ACTUAL HEART OF OUR TOWN…. (I personally was blessed to work within those walls for a decade, and they watched me grow up before that, you can be rest assured we will do a Luquins Flashback Series) And since it’s demise in the tragic Luquins/Akebono fire….. we’ve all been missing a little piece of our souls… xox. Pahoa Loves you Luquins Ohana. The memories in those walls, if they could talk lol….the immense love joy and laughter, family, the crazy nights the fights and the unspeakables lol… I have a feeling things will get better soon.. 🆘🆘🌋🌋🌱🌱🌱
