Hey guys I’m so sick of this every morning, pretty much since I was born on this magnificent island, but the PM GASSINGS ☣️ Need to stop. Now. We all know what’s coming next.

Extreme smell of sulphur , bottom opihikau Kamaili Road (yes I realize we are an active volcano and yes I realize it smells often) but as residents of the area, we can tell when something is getting more apparent then before. It never ever started smelling this bad in the mornings until the recent Pahala earthquakes, but HAS BEEN CONSTANT since the 24 new active so2/PM ⛔️🛑🔥 fissures in Leilani Estates  . Plus the Highway steel plates , have never ever been so steamy as the past few weeks. Something big is gonna go down. we can’t be lied to this time and made believe everything is ok when it does.


It’s good for us as LERZ to take individual notice  of these things as a community, because we ALL remember what happened last time and how we were told “everything fine , there’s absolutely no lava under those cracks don’t worry business as usual “ when the same day the Lava popped and erupted infront of MY EYES ON MY HOME STREET AS I WAS INSPECTING CRACKS WITH MY DAUGHTER!!! 


Marzo magically appeared out of nowhere, on the other side of my dads street (born and raised on that street all my years I had never seen him in the neighborhood even though we were neighbors lol) , with his famous line “we have an eruption we have an eruption!!! “ and that fateful day was the last time I ever saw my childhood …. Wait I thought they said no lava was under the road? MY EYE CIVIL DEFENSE , WAY TO DEFEND THE CIVILIANS LOL. ?!


So yeah … let’s please be more aware as a community, because if we can and try to be aware as our individual selves to our surroundings, so we don’t have to rely on anyone to tell us fallacy’s that’s may result in extreme danger or even lives lost, we may actually start noticing the little changes that lead up to something big .


But then again, it could alll just be me

Hawaiʻi County to Start Road and Water Line Pohoiki Road and Highway 137 Projects in 2023

  On Friday, March 18, 2022, the County’s Department of Public Works, Department of Water Supply, Planning Department’s Disaster Recovery Division and Council Member Ashley Kierkiewicz (District 4) convened a virtual meeting with 50 community members to report on the status of restoring road and water infrastructure impacted by the 2018 Kīlauea volcanic eruption.
