To think that our reps and even state itself , and even private local individuals who act like they really are for the people here (just for all their many titles and biz status) would rather ask weird ass questions like “needs assessments —for Obvious shit, like AIR, freedom of CHOICE, GARDENS FOR FRESH LOCAL FOODS, ETC—(lerz literally , and living in its communities for 33 years and loving it with all my heart and knowing all our peoples struggles, THATS MY NEEDS ASSESSMENT LOL AND I WONT BE DOING NO DAMN EIS TO PROVE MY PEOPLE NEED HELP WHICH YOU FOLKS WONT SIMOLY GET FOR THEM) or why send emails after midnight to a community member who’s asking support on a simple community endeavor, so flat out insulting telling to tell them how “no matter how many hundreds of endorsement letters you won’t get anywhere, (which at that point of insults, I already had gotten where I wanted to go LMAO) and continue to insult with real life shit like “oh if only so-and-so were alive” (who just so happens to have been a AMAZING FRIEND of my moms , And watched me grow up from diaper days and beyond, as you all have, and she would be so proud of what is trying to get accomplished for our town) passively showing very obviously that unless your the one bringing all this good stuff to the table , you ain’t for it. exactly why my people of Puna are so stuck in the hopeless LAVA DAZE that is daily life here for a lot, we just simply don’t think we can get the help. Then when these higher ups, or not even higher ups lol (ain’t no one better or higher then anyone else , don’t you ever let them make you feel otherwise) find out you are trying to bring actual resources and good to the ACTUAL LERZ COMMUNITIES THAT ARE STILL WAITING FOR RECOVERY AND TO GO HOME SINCE KILAUEA 2018, they start freaking out and scrambling because they just all got funded for Kilauea recovery yet not one of them even has one damn plan to help the actual ones affected, US HERE IN LOWER LERZ, COASTAL COMMUNITIES THE ONES WHO NEVER ARE REACHED BY THE ACTUAL RESOURCES AND HELP OUR REPS “BRING”. Even right now they all got massive Kilauea recovery grants , yet I guarantee you 100% there’s not one actual worthy, meanwhile platform or endeavor for US WHO WERE ACTUALLY AFFECTED AND LOST EVERYTHING IN THE FISSURE 8 ERUPTION. why are they representatives of our sacred home if they allow these things to happen, and let money be worth more then lives . This is NOT ok. We even saw how the money and power got to those here who we deeply respect , saved so many and still help to this day so many of us, yet they are bought out by PGV and any other money making powerhouses. Because if your from Puna you just never get these opportunities to actually make money , so they just take any awards from nasty corporations. We must remember our KULIANA AND DOING THE RIGHT THING FOR OUR PEOPLE.
So, now that Kilauea , and madame Pele herself’s blessing, we won’t take it for granted. We will grasp this opportunity FULL FORCE TO RAISE THE SIMPLE AWARENESS NEEDED, TO MAYBE ACTUALLY GET SOMEWHERE XOX. We want a damn EIS FOR PGV , NOT FOR SIMPLE COMMUNITY ENDEAVORS, OR A FRIKIN ROAD HOME . SAY IT LOUDER. 3 1/2 years later we STILL waiting for them to MAYBE POSSIBLY START with a EIS FOR THE UNCOVERING OF OUR ROAD. WE ARE NOT MORONS PGV AND FEMA ! THERE IS A ROAD UNDER THAT LAVA YEAH HELLLLOOOOOOOOOO WAKE UP .
