💔💔💔

A man has died after falling into an active volcanoin a closed area within Hawaii's Volcanoes National Park, authorities said.

Park rangers, assisted by helicopter, recovered the man's body around 8am on Monday local time.
The identity of the man has not yet been released and an investigation is underway.

Kilauea volcano is one of the world's most active volcanos.
"National Park Service rangers and Hawaiʻi County firefighters located the man's body about 100 feet (30 metres) below the crater rim, west of the Uēkahuna viewing area at the summit of Kilauea volcano," the National Park Service said in a statement.

It has been erupting continuously along its East Rift Zone since 1983.

In December 2021, residents were asked to stay indoors after the volcano erupted following a series of earthquakes.

A glow was detected within the crater of the volcano's summit and "an eruption has commenced within Kilauea's summit caldera," the Civil Defence Agency (COH) said.

(This is jazzy with lerzpunanewsblog stating I don’t personally remember ANY NOTICE ⛔️ TO STAY INDOORS ? Lol do you? I warned residents about 7 hours before the eruption started about all the fallacies and that something was gonna happen… )
