  It was printed the DAY OF 🥰🥰 . Another thing was , My mom (chair/President  of Laulima) in her rush of getting a press release out , completely forgot to add me in the release ,( see  https://lerzpunanewsblog.blogspot.com/2022/04/aole-pgv-fest-date-confirmed-061122.html  & Moms Correction to add Jasmine and LERZ  lol, ) But I do understand, because I rant so much that no one will ever print anything I post due to it, and This is ALSO such a controversial subject that quite frankly, we HAD to be a community non profit, or some type of organization , to actually get any press releases printed from us (they never print my moms personal stuff either , the truth really is hard for the news to print here in hawaii ). The reason I wanted to even do this was so my mom and all her hard work the past seven years (honestly my entire life she’s been anti PGV , 33 years plus) with her legal battles , I needed the community to really see how hard she is busting butt for us all. I wanted all those who have been fighting this fight to be able to speak and update the community and I wanted us to find options to move forward together to free us from this madness. I love her and she does this all quietly in her spare time . People who don’t live down here don’t understand the severity of this . We NEED awareness . This entire day was HER DOING, SHE DID EVERYTHING. I just had the idea . I love you mama.


Saturday started off so beautiful. King Kamehameha day 2022 in Puna hit differently this year , as I woke from bed with the hugest smile thinking of the magic that was about to unfold in Hawaiian Kingdom.  For the first time in a very , very long time , the people of LERZ Puna will gather together as one to try to work together to create positive change for themselves and their community by exposing Puna Geothermal Venture’s decades of cover ups, and illegal activity. The people will finally be able to speak and get their sides out , the hard working community members who have been busting butt to fight these guys legally will have their time to update the community and we all can come together and put our HEARTS together for PUNA .

Hawaiʻi County to Start Road and Water Line Pohoiki Road and Highway 137 Projects in 2023

  On Friday, March 18, 2022, the County’s Department of Public Works, Department of Water Supply, Planning Department’s Disaster Recovery Division and Council Member Ashley Kierkiewicz (District 4) convened a virtual meeting with 50 community members to report on the status of restoring road and water infrastructure impacted by the 2018 Kīlauea volcanic eruption.
